Jim Stovall – The Christopher Story
Jim Stovall tells his amazing story of triumph over devastating adversity.
Told he was going blind as a teenager, he decided to volunteer at a blind school while he still had his eyesight. He spent the next three years there taking care of a young child named Christopher.
Jim was determined to make a difference in the life of Christopher but it was Christopher who taught him the true meaning of “Yes You Can” and changed his life just as drastically as his own blindness did.
His story is a great lesson that wealth is in the giving – not in the keeping.
One Heartbeat At A Time
Late one night while on the road touring, songwriter Steve Curtis Chapman called his wife to say hello. He could hear their fourth child crying in the background. He knew that his wife was tired and that she would not get too much sleep that night.
He wanted to let her know that she mattered and that what she was doing to care for their children was changing the world – one heartbeat at a time.
He wanted her to know how important she was and how much he appreciated her. Wanting to encourage her, he wrote this beautiful song that is inspiring for ALL mothers everywhere!

Mother’s Day Rhapsody
Mother’s Day is just arouund the corner…
I think most everyone would agree that any woman who has raised a child deserves to be recognized “every” day. It is a job that is filled with sacrifice and unconditional love.
This very witty and humorous skit – “Mommy Rhapsody” played to the music of Bohemiam Rhapsody by Queen – reminds of some of the drudgery that comes along with the job of being a mom but it also reminds us that motherhood is a job that is done willingly. That reason alone is why mother’s deserve one extra special day each year. **
