Homeless Boy Steals The Talent Show

You cannot help but be deeply touched by this amazing young man;   Sung-bong Choi.

When Sung-bong decided to sing on the Talent Show Korea’s Got Talent he had no idea that he would win the hearts of millions all over the world!

The story of his childhood is so moving that even the judges had a hard time keeping their composure.

He told the judges that even though he didn’t think he could sing very well, he sang because it made him happy.

They couldn’t have been more surprised.  He is a true inspiration to the endurance of the heart.

what agreat humble God given Talent God will do his work where its needed most

    • Enlightened says:

omg u stupid little drones. why are you attributing this boys talent to the work of a fantasy being? i never know whether to laugh or cry when people still even mention ‘God’

      • Enlightened says:

Read the ‘God Delusion’ and WAKE UP!!!!

      • Larry says:

Dear Enlightened one. We will pray for you. One day every tongue will confess he is God. I find it interesting you use the initials omg. What does this stand for? You really do believe don’t you? Come to him in humility and he will show you the truth.
        Larry

      • Lil says:

i feel very sad for you, that you don’t believe,i cannot imagine my without God,he’s always there for me.we all need to believe because at the end of your life, you ‘ll have no one to welcome you. worst to say’ you are the stupid one. What are doing on this site if you don’t believe?

        • Enlightened says:

hehe, laughing seems to be the overriding reaction.

you have absolutely no idea what happens after u die. larry, uv never met god, so how u think u can go to him in humility is ridiculous.

Lil, god has never been there for you. your mind is so convinced through indoctrination as a child that he exists so that religious leaders and, for example, televangelists can steal your money and use you.

          Lil says
“we all need to believe because at the end of your life, you ‘ll have no one to welcome you. worst to say’ you are the stupid one”

what? we all need to believe just in case? because, as i assume you have never died, you have no idea what happens at the end of you life. i like to think that i will return to the state i was in for billions of years before i was born.

Worst to say, religion blinds you, tells you not to ask questions. it is the very nature of it. islam, judaism christianity. Their basic code is, do not ask questions, serve willingly, and you will be rewarded (after death of course, where no one knows what happens and when you cant come complaining after you figure out you’ve been swindled because, ofc, ur dead) Actually its a genious plan, but does require some amount of gullibility.

and im here becasue i wanted to see a homeless boy steal a talent show.

But i thought maybe freeing a few people from the lies, deceit and control that have obviously been wrapped so tightly round your minds as children, would maybe help mankind take one more step to being an intelligent species as a whole, not just in part.

          • Corian says:

Man cannot make nor destroy energy. Man can only use or save energy. All matters are made from energy.
Logicaly, there is a being way above man’s intelligent that has made our universe that we know of. This is the being we all refer to as God the Almighty. It is ok if the enlightened person does not believe in God because the enlightened person is using his or her emotion not logic.

          • Enlightened says:

“All matters are made from energy.
Logicaly, there is a being way above man’s intelligent that has made our universe that we know of.”

No. matter is made up of mass. Energy is the capacity for which mass can cause effect. And either way, every sane person know that your statement is far far from logical.

How can the mere existence of mass and energy constitute there being some intelligent being that made it all?

leaving that one answer,… that a god did it?

Wouldn’t you consider it quite naive to think so? And to some extent downright ignorant of the scientific facts that we are presented with in todays modern society?

          • Corian says:

What or who created mass in the first place ?

      • carol cox says:

So very sorry for the “Enlightened” person who is so dim he can not accept GOD. HE has many faces to reach all of His children. i like to think i am one of them. this Korean child is surely one of His chosen..we will pray for your true enlightment…

        • Enlightened One says:

“Dim for not accepting God”, “He has many faces” !!???

Are you seriously THAT dumb that you think hiding behind silly little proverbs and non-sensical statements will make you seem rational and ultimately right?

Think about it. Starving children in africa, Whole communities riddled with AIDS. Torture, rape, murder, genocide….all of it going on around the
world…..and YOU think that God has decided that..

“you know what…..im done with all this raping, plagueing, mass murdering and war,…today im going to make a korean kid with a lovely voice. Then tomorrow, im going to go back to killing all those innocent little african babies. I might use malaria. Never let me down. Or maybe cholera..hmmmm decisions decisions.”

If that really is the case, you can go live with that f****r after uv died for all i care. If you can’t wake up, or downright refuse too, then in the grand scheme of things, your just a bunch of silly little, weak-willed, mindless drones ultimately being controlled and furthering someone else’s gain. I am very glad i am not one of you.

          • Josh says:

Enlightened, looks like you listed some of the circumstances we live in correctly: Starvation, disease, injustice, rape, murder, death, etc. In respect, who do you think is responsible for all those events? I’d like to hear your point of view. Also, you spoke of the ability to be “ultimately right” in response to Carol’s post. Do you think there is an absolute truth where one could be ultimately right?

            Respectfully,
            -Josh

          • A friend says:

My friend, you are trying to hard, these people are already lost, hopefully, religion will die off eventually, that is my hope, stupidity and religion are diseases that we are starting to cure as mankind, I wish you luck.

      • God is Real Indeed says:

you are obviously blinded by demons! We are praying for your true enlightenment

        • Enlightened says:

ok. seeing as people on this site are so simple. I shall put my point into pictures. Please, please look at this. Maybe it will drive the point home for some of you.

          http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=223719200998703&set=a.154436764593614.23521.154436364593654&type=3&theater

          • Ithalion says:

Hey man, I am a Christian and trust me, I have asked questions of all the things you have pointed out, but I do believe there are solid answers. Christianity does not discourage questions as you said in a different post. Yes, I’m sure there are some churches or groups that discourage questions, but it is NOT intrinsic. Please don’t group all Christians together as simple and stupid. I would suggest reading Tim Keller’s “Reason for God” or C.S. Lewis’ “Mere Christianity” (Lewis’ book especially is NOT simple). It’ll be good food for thought for you.

      • DallasNeedsADentist says:

It’s completely fine with me that you don’t believe in God. You’re entitled to your belief, and I respect that. I happen to be a Christian, though, and insulting other people’s faith is ignorant and rude. Just because you don’t believe doesn’t mean all of us can’t believe. I’m not calling you simple and dumb because you’re an atheist, so what gives you the right to call me dumb for owning my belief? It’s not fair. Learn to accept other beliefs and opinions and WAKE UP! What you’re accomplishing is spreading more hatred, which is pathetic on a video like this. Just shut up and enjoy this blessed boy’s voice!

  2. Margaret says:

    What a wonderful young man!

  3. sonny vicente says:

Amazing how Sung-bong was able to self-develop his natural talent. It really confirms that our creator design every human being, putting everything necessary for him to be successful. He even sees to it that circumstances conspires to open doors of opportunities so those natural qualities will be exposed. Now, it’s really up to Sung-bong and the well-meaning people who will be surrounding him to develop his gifts so he can make a difference in many other people’s lives thus making our world a better place.

It was really wonderful to hear the young boy.
The tone of the song was very touchy .Can someone please explain the meaning of song in english.

    • DallasNeedsADentist says:

It’s a song about peace. I don’t remember the exact lyrics but the general meaning is along the lines of “In my fantasy I dream of peace and harmony. No killing, war, hatred, or discrimination.” I hope that helps.

  9. Linda Montigel says:

He was singing Nell Fantasia and Italian Opera, here
    are the lyrics in English.

In my fantasy I see a fair world,
Where everyone lives in peace and honesty.
I dream of a place to live that is always free,
    Like a cloud that floats,
Full of humanity in the depths of the soul.

In my fantasy I see a bright world.
I dream of spirits that are always free,
    Liike the cloud that floats.

In my fantasy exists a warm wind,
that breathes into the city, like a friend.
I dream of souls that are always free,
    Like the cloud that floats,
Full of humanity in the depths of the soul.

  12. Stories like this one touches the heart. This reminds me of a scripture in the book of proverbs and I quote: “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings . . . ” (Proverbs 23:29)It will be wonderful to follow up on his success!

  13. Kim says:

    God Bless you Sung Bong.

  14. Roger says:

This young man has a passion. When you have a passion, the only thing between you and success with that passion is you. Through all of the adversity, Sung Bong stayed with his passion and , like Susan Boyle, I believe he will go far. As the Word says, “I can do all thing through Christ who gives me strength”. As stated earlier, I hope Sung Bong meets up with a Christian mentor.

  27. annhoskins says:

First I was so engrossed in his heart rendering story of his childhood that in itself ran chills down my spine. As I continued to listen to the interview, and seeing how young this man was,I never thought that I would hear the voice that I truly felt as a heavenly experience.

Tears rolled down my face when he sung the first line. His voice took my breath away. What he had gone through his entire life, and to be so talented. He is a survivor, and through surviving his entire life, I pray God will bless him with many more blessings, more hope, and somewhere fine the love that he truly deserves. I also would like to give him a hug. I’m so proud of him even though I don’t know him. I will be certain to pass this on to my friends and colleagues.

Sung-bong I wish you well, my thoughts and prayers will always be with you, and your voice is embellished in my mind and heart.

inspiring and sincerely shared—i hope this young man will go far in achieving the best—as a vocalist if he desires—i am happy to see that material wealth is not a prerequisite of talents—-we are inspired because this young man has reached for excellence and has not been defeated by his challenging circumstances. But above all—he is an amazing vocalist—he is a truly remarkable human being. Thank you for the tears and heart-moving sharing in music.

The young man has touched my heart so much! Besides his beautiful voice, he has projected a disposition worth imitating, a wonderful heart willing to transcend the painful experiences he had gone through. In short, he is a winner – not only in music, but also over all of life’s adversities. May God bless the people who gave him not only great accolade, but willingness to show him love and concern.

  33. I thing they should end the competition right now, and
    make the kid the winner!

  34. Tim Turner says:

We get so caught up in all the bad things that are going on in this word that we “FORGET” that there are young and old people like Sung-bong, who has lived on the streets and slept in un-awful places. WE who like Myself eventhough I”m menatally tramatic disabled from being in the Viet Nam war ,”CAN’T” even match what this young man has endured, But because we have such a “LOVING” God he gave him a precious talent that I Hope Makes the “WHOLE” word feel like I do. I’m with the the lady who said “STOP” the talent show now!!! and make him the winner, Eventhough in Gods’ eyes he “ALREADY” is. May our Lord and Savoir Keep him safe and give him all his Blessings!!!

  41. Edward says:

Definitely an inspiration for anyone has ears..God be with you all the way!

  42. Steve Merullo says:

I was really touched!! This is a young man with GUTZ!
He didn’t allow extreme circumstances to get in his way. He doesn’t have that “BOO HOO, POOR ME” attitude like many of us have when a minor detail get’s in our way. This young man will triumph in all his trials. Two verses come to mind when hearing him speak, “Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men”. (Rom. 12:17, and “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good” (Rom. 12:21). I would be really surprised if this young man didn’t have Jesus Christ in His life. If I could have 2 minutes to talk with Him, I would quote from the Bible, Ipet.5:5-11.

  43. edith says:

    • DallasNeedsADentist says:

Why shouldn’t they be allowed to express their belief? If you haven’t noticed, smart one, you are on a Christian site… This also goes out to “enlightened” one. We DO happen to believe that anything good comes from God. Problem? I have a right to my faith and opinion as you do. Don’t criticize me, thanks. I don’t criticize you.
