The Influence Of A Father

Happy Father’s Day to ALL the wonderful dad’s in our lives.  We love and adore you!

There are countless studies that have been done and statistics that prove just how important father’s are to their families.  They all talk about the father / child bond that accelerates a child’s achievement in academics, sports, self esteem, communication skills etc. etc.

Basically, a father’s role in a family is more than important it’s extremely needed for the well being of the family.

If you are, have ever been (or know), a special man who has made a positive impact in the life of a child, please know (or let them know) that you ( they) are appreciated more than it is possible to express.

Fatherhood is very challenging especially in these times when our children are inundated with outside influences.  This special video says perfectly just what a father means to a child.

  1. Happy Fathers Day to the Fathers around the world.
A well captured video for the day.
Keep it up. Our children needs our
    Tender care and concern.
Let us set apart some time for them
    This video promote that concern
    Thanks for sharing

This is one of the most powerful and thought provoking videos I have ever seen. Our parents really do shape our lives one way or the other. I pray that fathers will watch and learn from this video.

    In Christ Jesus,

This statement from the lips and thoughts of a youngster pertains to mother’s as well. After hearing this audio and seeing the video had a great impact on my thinking. I never knew my father, he was killed in a car accident when I was four on December 22nd, then vandals stole the Christmas gifts out of the car for me and my sister.
When I married, my husband was abusive towards me after we adopted a child. From that abuse that my young son observed at a young age, and even though I divorced my husband and he since has died, had a tremendous impact on my son obviously…as it’s dejavue for me all over again with my son who is now
20 years old. I’m getting the emotional abuse, close to physical abuse from him and financial abuse.
My son and I were always close until he turned 18, and he changed towards me, and even though this is a thought provoking video/audio, tears were brought to my eyes as I blame myself for my son’s behavior now. Even though I wasn’t abusive towards him, he picked it up from my ex.
I ask for your prayers that he sees the light. Thank you

Wow…powerful words coming from this tiny voice! We never know who, when and where those little minds are watching us.
As a mom, I realized early on that every response our son witnessed from his father and I, would shape the man he would become.
This was also carried over to not just our son but those children his father and I interacted with.
This goes along with…how do we as Christians act when we think no one is looking? God sees all, nothing is hidden from Him [Psalm 69:5 ~ O God, You know my foolishness; and my sins are not hidden from You. NKJV]
At this time in my Christian walk, that is exactly what God watches for with me everyday…my responses to the big and small stuff of everyday living. Thank You LORD for continually working on me so that I can be a better mom to our son and the motherless.

How humanizingly BEAUTIFUL! My Dad used to share with
us what his Dad would do or say (Ex. “If you can’t say
anything good about another don’t say anything at all!”
Dad didn’t just quote “Grandpa” HE LIVED IT!. My brother was
my Dad’s “little shadow” and today 55 years later can
tell of a “quiet and unassuming” good (deed, attitude
and word)he observed in Dad. His own adult children
have “picked up” the goodness and compassion of my
brother and are reflecting the same in their own lives.
Good begets good! I feel so blessed to have experienced such GOODNESS!
We are created in His image and likeness – may we
reflect love and goodness to ALL we meet!

There aren’t enough words to tell you how beautifull this. I have been blessed because I have a son, 2 grandsons and a son in law just like the Dad in this film.

I have always been father an will always be farher
    Ephesian 3:14-15
    My question is….
    will you be my child?
    John 1:12-13
    Iam waiting for you
    Luke 15:11-32

    Love, your Dad

Happy father days to all the wonderful fathers!!!!

    Thank you! We need reminding.

  12. Truly inspirational blog post :-) Thanks! Our children will inherit the earth as well as the values we live out, much more than our verbal messages to them. As parents, the best gifts to pass on to our children besides our time, love and hands-on care are spiritual goodness, living with integrity, tolerance for cultural differences and acceptance of human foibles.
